 The FAITH and HOPE in oneself is a function of the brevity of the ability and survivability of the person. Ability is framed as the scope of aptitude in the following areas: cognition, awareness, comprehension, and endurance. 

Endurance is a process of thoughts and affections which signify ability through process and delivery.
